Mrs. Maxayn Jennings holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology along with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She earned the credential of Clinical Mental Health Counselor from her University and National Certified Counselor (NCC) by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) in the United States. She is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) making her qualified to provide trauma counseling. She is in private practice offering telehealth services under her practice name B2U Counseling and has authored the book Shattered Lives: Unmasking Abuse and it’s Aftermath in her spare time. Presently she works full time at Bermuda Hospitals Board as the Patient Relations Manager after working in finance for several years.

She has always had love for mental health and joined BCA several years ago with the intention of helping the association gain legislative change and growth so that the road for future counselors would be easier to traverse.

She is a mother of two adult children, fierce advocate for those suffering through mental health challenges, and a former Brownie Leader. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

“Mental health affects us all, there is only wellness through knowledge. Your physician treats your body, your psychiatrist/psychologist/counselor treats your mind, your pastor/spiritual advisor/higher power treats your soul. Mind/body/soul for complete wellness.”
