Terrilynn Richards has been a school counselor with the Bermuda Government’s Department of Education for almost 29 years. Prior to that, she was employed by the Department of Child and Family Services, Residential Treatment Centre, working between the group homes and the Co-Educational facility, where she worked for 11 years. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF). Mrs. Richards is especially interested in group work.
She is married with two adult children. Mrs. Richards has volunteered in many capacities within the community. She is a skilled cake decorator and has made several wedding cakes. She enjoys teaching this skill to her students. Mrs. Richards’ involvement with BCA spans decades. She is excited to see the hard work of the founders and more recent members coming to fruition, bringing notable recognition to the profession—a development long overdue.
